The project «Ecocapsule» offers an alternative perception of residence and can offer all the comforts of a house on the planet's inhospitable areas. After six years of development, a Slovak design office, presented a proposal for a small "house" that can be autonomous and can be moved and located anywhere. The ‘Ecocapsule’ as it is called is a small apartment with all comforts and full autonomy in energy needs.
The final shape of the house is the shape of an egg. Although it is not visible from the outside, the ‘Ecocapsule’ manages to take advantage of the maximum of 8 square meters of the available space, offering reclining bed, table for work, kitchen and even bathroom. During the process of production, it will be equipped with a smart weather forecasting, so as to prepare the interior space according to external conditions.
For its energy needs, it uses solar panels on the roof and a foldable wind generator of 750W. It is also equipped with a special system that uses rainwater so as to be relatively autonomous. Its size makes it easy to move (fits comfortably inside a container) and it can be located anywhere desired by the owner, from the garden of a house to the most inhospitable place of the world.
According to the initiators of the project, from the first moment, their creation has enthusiastic reviews. There are already the first orders, despite the fact that the production is expected to begin in 2016.
