Asia's most impressive bridge

Vietnam hosts probably Asia's most remarkable bridge, called the Golden Bridge.

The construction emerges from the trees of Thien Thai garden in Ba Na Hills. Established by French colonists in 1919, Ba Na Hills is a resort inside the mountain. It now holds a Fantasy Park and a French-style village, with cobbled streets.

Golden Bridge is lifted in the air above Truong Son Mountains by a spectacular pair of giant hands, decorated in a manner that it seems that they have been there for centuries. The structure, which includes 8 spans, extends 150m long and raises 1400m above sea level. Designed by TA Landscape Architecture in Ho Chi Minh City, it opened in June 2018 as part of a $2 billion project to attract tourists in Vietnam. The bridge was designed to evoke the image of the "giant hands of Gods, pulling a strip of gold out of the land," said Vu Viet Anh, Design Principal at TA Landscape Architecture.

Linh Thuy, a tourist, reported to Reuters: "The two, smooth, giant hands look real. It makes me feel like humans can do anything".
