$3.7-billion Fontainebleau Las Vegas hotel unveiled its most luxurious Fleur de Lis suite collection as it nears its scheduled opening on December 13.
The resort and casino are located on a 24.5-acre plot of land at the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, which was originally purchased in 2000.
Its construction originally started in February 2007 and the 67-story tower was topped off on November 14, 2008. However, construction stopped during the same year in light of the Great Recession, and Nevada’s tallest occupiable building stood there at 70% completion for more than a decade.
Following, the property changed hands a few times before being repurchased by Fontainebleau Development in February of 2021, and construction resumed later that year.
The project consists of a 3,644-room hotel and a 173,000 sq ft (16,100 m2) casino.
Recently, and shortly before the grand opening, a preview of rendered images of the Fleur de Lis suite collection were published.
Fleur de Lis is a collection of 76 suites, which take up the top five floors of the tower, ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 square feet and are promising to offer a six-star, pinnacle of luxury, experience.
