It is starting from the podium Alpha Prinos, which is connected to the rig Energean Force and from where will be held a total of four wells. In the coming days the new drilling program of Energean Oil & Gas is launching, which aims to pump 30 million barrels of oil, the existence of which have been confirmed by independent appraisers.

It is the largest drilling program in the history of the country from 1981, when the operation began. Under this project, the rig Energean Force and the drilling support vessel Valiant Energy were purchased, and 50 employees were hired for the largest energy investment during financial crisis. Overall, 15 wells are planned, starting with the well 8, which will be completed by the beginning of 2016. Then the rig will be moved to the podium Beta, where another 3 wells are planned, while towards the end of next year the rig will be transferred to the highly promising oil field Epsilon, where half of the 30 million barrels of oil have recorded in the Gulf of Kavala.

7 wells are planned to take place at Epsilon. The two-year project will finish with drilling at the North Prinos, where three million barrels of oil are confirmed.
