Reaching a height of almost 305 meters, the “Tulip” will provide London’s highest viewing point.
The steel and glass construction will be the 2nd higher building in the capital after The Shard but its viewing platform will be located much higher.
The building will consist of 12 floors and will be used as a tourist attraction. It will include restaurants, a bar, an educational floor with state-of-the-art technological features available for about 20,000 students per year and, of course, an amazing view of London through a glass "Sky Bridge".
It was designed at the maximum feasible height that regulations establish due to airplanes, that land in London’s airports, courses. “Visitors will benefit from interactive materials and briefings from expert guides about the history of London. Complementing the experience will be a sky bar and restaurants with 360-degree views of the city”, the architect stated.
The magnificent skyscraper will be built by J. Safra Group, a U.S. finance and property company. The construction will be able to produce its own energy supply, utilizing efficient materials.
Construction work is expected to initiate in 2020 and last for about 5 years provided that its permission will be approved.
