A house in Lisle, Illinois, was completely destroyed after an explosion that occurred on Saturday, July 1st.
According to the DuPage Country Sheriff’s Office, the explosion was caused by natural gas, but the authorities are still investigating. So far, no foul play is expected, but the exact causes of the explosion have not been determined.
Neighbors reported hearing the explosion, as well as debris falling on nearby properties. The aftermath of the event was also captured on drone footage.
Luckily enough, the house was empty at the time, and no injuries were reported, as the family living there was out of town for the holiday weekend along with their pets.
