A new Geotechnical Module for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 was recently developed by Keynetix and licenced to Autodesk. The new module allows the import of geotechnical borehole data from AGS and CSV files as well as directly from HoleBASE SI into AutoCAD Civil 3D, allowing the user to create 3D boreholes, strata surfaces and profiles. The Geotechnical Module is available from the Product Enhancements area of the Autodesk subscription website.
Additionally, Keynetix are also working on the HoleBASE SI Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D which will become available this September. The new release is a complete redevelopment of the Geotechnical Module enabling much improved performance and functionality.
