A scaffolding collapsed killing one person and injuring another in Belgium.

The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday 31 of October 2018, outside the central station of Antwerp, the capital of Antwerp province in Flanders. Both victims were construction workers. Police reported that the situation of the injured man is stable.

The scaffolding was utilized for a hotel construction. It collapsed at about 10:30AM in a very busy area of Antwerp due to unknown reasons. The street was evacuated and fire-fighters rushed at the scene immediately for a rescue operation. No further victims were found under the debris.
