Late Saturday night, October 15th, an earthquake struck Greece.
The epicenter was located in the village of Pogoni. Pogoni is approximately 16 km from the larger city of Ioannina where the quake was measured at a M5.3.
Due to the low focal depth of the quake, it was felt widely across Greece. After the main event, four aftershocks occurred ranging from M4.2 to M4.9. No injuries were reported but fallen rock has caused road blockages and damage.
